She is a noble woman, a striving woman, a woman who never lay a finger on me! When u see her from a far, she is spontaneous and special and when u see her from a close range, she commands your humility! It feels good to see my mum smiling attimes and know that I am the reason behind her smile! Its not easy to be a mother and the sacrifice a mum makes is uncountable! If I had all the gold and silver in the world and I pay it to her, it wont still measure up to an atoms weight of all she has done for me! If I no sleep, my mummy no go sleep, if I no chop my mumcy no go chop, she no dey tire, sweet mother Even the salaf held their parents in high esteem! When sheik ibn taymiyah r.a was in a prison in egypt, he wrote a letter to his mum as follows: Oh my mother, do not think that I am comfortable being far away from you, if the birds could carry me, I would have hurried back to you, oh mother, there is nothing dearer to me than being next to you, no one misses you more than me! Things to do to please ur mum: 1) Plait her hair for her 2)Cook for her attimes 3)Buy gifts for her attimes, not only when she is sick 4)Cut her nails 5)Make her take her siesta while resting her head on ur laps 6)Wash and iron her clothers 7)Teach her d deen and buy books from darus salam stores for her 8)When she travels, call her and tell her sweet things 9)Buy clothes for her like lace, high target, jilbab, buba e.t.c 10)Chat wit her if she is on S.N 11)Express ur love for her often 12)Send her cute text mssgs, dnt text ur wives only 13)If u r married, always make out time to visit her in d village, dont just be sending yams to her, she needs to see you! Thats why I wouldnt marry someone who wil steal me frm my mum! 15)Give her gud night pecks and dont be shy to hug ur mum! Dont hesitate to do all these things, she did them for u when u were a baby, why are u shy to do them now? Rememeber she wont live forever. There are many out there who wish they had a mother but .... So if u stil have ur mum, love and cherish her before she passes on! Mum: pokes me on a serious note jor Me: on a serious text book, am too young for that! Mum: if u dnt get married, I wil go and get a wife for you Me: damn no! Am a man Mum: labas, then go for an ideal wife material! Me: wife material? How many yards? Lol! I love you Mummy! Brothers and sisters in islam, seek ur jannah thru ur mother by all possible halal means! The little things u ignore matters a lot! Finally, include ur parents in ur dua, and the mothers of the believers and our very first mother (hawa a.s) What makes u a mother is not just marriage buy by having kids, may Allah grant the married women the fruit of the womb, ameen!
