Deep hole Tomorrow, I start working on 4 more suites. I play out on my head how I’d do it as I have done the previous rooms. But nothing comes easy even as I try to employ shortcuts to save on time. The rooms needs to be stripped, lined with plastic sheeting, patched, compounded, primed, finish painted, reassemble trim and appliance, then finally cleaned up. Whenever you start any project, it is always like looking up from a deep hole where you have to dig your way out of it. I remember descending into a deep shaft to film children mining for gold and was sick in the stomach imagining I’d be buried there. But you continue working and it desensitize you and before you know it you’ve dug yourself out of the hole again. Contracts are important and to renege from any is a sin among professionals. Whatever hardship one has to go through, fine craftsmanship should shine as one grapples up any deep hole, and take a vow for a job well done.
