Deep thought of the day: Observation about musics current Top 40: Out of the 40 songs listed, there is literally only 1 (ONE) band that plays any instruments. I put band in quotations because to be a band, one must play an instrument. The rest is nothing but synth, drum/beat machines, AutoTune or house musicians at various studios that are all commissioned to polish these collective turds to its over-produced shine which the record labels have deemed passable as music. The only thing more egregious than that is that people actually LISTEN to this crap. The only band on the list that plays instruments is Little Big Town in their #33 song Daydrinking, and last I checked, that is a country band... A country band... In the top 40... the only ones that play their own music... Let all that sink in. eg. This is what it sounds like before the polishing process.
