Deeply disappointed by Modis Jan Dhan Yojana. : Read Full -It is not named after Rajiv or Indira. Imagine how powerful it would have sounded if it was named Indira Gandhi Garibi Hatao Jan Dhan Yojana -It is not for a particular religion or caste. Imagine how beneficial it would have been if it was for Dalits only. Or maybe it could be have been called All India Secular Sharia-compatible Yojana for Minorities -The scheme intends to penetrate till family level i.e every family can have a bank account now. This is gross invasion of privacy!! Is Modi planning to snoop into the finances of all the families in India? -Most importantly, this is what makes it very very disappointing: It bypasses all the intermediate points and enables the Govt to reach out to the individual directly. Sounds good but this has severe consequences. What will happen to those lakhs of middlemen who are making a livelihood by acting as agents and taking their cuts as money propogates from Govt to the commom man? Why is Modi punishing middlemen and pushing them to streets now? This shows that Modi has no concern for humanity. This is the most dangerous, illogical, cruel, inhuman & careless scheme I have ever seen. This is not the reason I had voted Modi for. Feeling betrayed!! - Guruprasad
