Definitely a button-pusher of a story!!! In the story: Maj. Gen. Raymond Fox, commander of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force at Lejeune, will determine whether to court martial Hassoun. WHAT? Hes been gone over 9 years and they are just going to think about it???? /// *ALSO* \\\ - - This wasnt this cowboys first rodeo. His brother, Mohamed, whined and said, Instead of them giving him medals and making him feel good about his service and what he was doing for his country, they gave him an Article 32, Hassoun said of the military court proceedings that his brother was to have faced in January 2005 [for going AWOL and claming to have been kidnapped]. Yer darn tootin he got an Article 32!!!! And I dont see what is so objectionable about that, because an Article 32 is simply a through and impartial investigation of all the matters set forth therein before the determination can be made to refer the charges for a court-martial. The only medal Id give the dude would be the one that goes where the sun dont shine. And Id make him eat a case of Spam (the Hormel mystery pork, not the unwanted e-mail).
