Definitely a dyspraxic day. Grrrrrrrr..... When something is - TopicsExpress

Definitely a dyspraxic day. Grrrrrrrr..... When something is slightly different from the usual way I do things, I confuse easily. This morning I was right in the edge of running late so I threw my hair products in a bag and grabbed my lunch. Im used to carrying two things out the door. Which is exactly what I did. Carried my lunch bag and the one with my hair products. And left my purse behind. I realized that when I got to work and didnt have my badge. Or anything else thats in my purse, like my wallet, makeup, gum, medication.....Awesome. Once my frustration level rises, things start conspiring to make life in general much more difficult. I trip more easily, drop everything I lay my hands on, screw up every time I try to type in a password and forget the sequence of things I do every day. I left my cup in the car so I went out on break to get it. Figured out halfway there that my keys were still on my desk. Threw the cup in my lunch bag to carry it and poked a hole in the bottom of it with the straw. How does that even happen? Dropped my phone about eight times. Fortunately it didnt break. I make it home and trip over the cat. Get ready to put the final coat of polycrilic onto the vanity mirror, so I can get that piece online and hopefully sold. Mirror and was leaning against the wall. Managed to kick it so it slid all the way down and fell flat-a decent impact. I just KNEW the mirror was going to crack, but it didnt. However, when I lifted it up I saw that the yoke had divided at a joint. So far its not hammering back. Its got a decent gap. So thats going to be another 24 hours for the mend, then Ill have to repaint (hopefully) just that one section. Then Ill be at the point where I can put on the polycrilic. I have to cut another drawer glide but frankly, Im petrified to use the saw tonight. I could work on the other piece, the little plum chest, but its mostly detail work (gold leafing) and Ill probably just spill another bottle of size in my lap. Screw it. I am DONE having this day.
