Definitely, on Oct17, there will be MASS ACTION and PROTEST ACTIVITIES but NEVER at the expense of our patients and NEVER at the extent of losing our COMPOSURE and CARING image as PROFESSIONALS. We have our CODE OF ETHICS to observe. Our KINDNESS and PROFESSIONALISM however will NOT prevent us from obtaining ATTENTION and RESULTS for the benefit of NURSES. Here are some of the confirmed action plans: 1) there is going to be an event for ACTION (we will announce details soon)! This event will be covered by MEDIA and will be HIGH IMPACT with NURSES having the chance to VENT OUT feelings without being labelled as unprofessional and unethical. 2) Nurses on Duty (anywhere im the world) will wear BLACK armband, and if possible BLACK JACKET or TSHIRT 3) volunteers will FILE THEIR LEAVE OF ABSENCE ALTOGETHER as a manifestation of PROTEST of their situation. 4) SOCIAL MEDIA will be TRENDING hashtag NURSES4CHANGEmovement and ALL NURSES will USE a PROTEST PROFILE PIC 5) CANDLES will be lighted in participating institutions worldwide. 6) FILING of something for PERMANENT CHANGE....
