Definition of #bully: someone who dumps feces and urine on a 14-year-old high school student. I knew those #bullies. They were the ones who stomped on turtles, gave swirlies to goofy kids like I was, and the ones that Woody Guthrie sang about, who rob all of us with a fountain pen. Kudos to #DrewCarey for stepping up and giving $10,000 to a local fund devoted to finding the bullies in this one case. But who will give money to help disabled children around the country, and intelligent, different, or goofy children? We have a culture that supports bullying (remember dodgeball?). I am very happy that the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has brought so much attention that cause. And, ironically, Drew Carey has allowed this horrible instance of bullying to trend on Facebook, which can bring attention to our common will to change things. So, as a result, the bullies have drawn massive attention to themselves, and to this horrible event - and all horrible things done to wonderful kids like this 14-year-old boy.
