Defunct law of the land Are there legal scholars in Nepal? If - TopicsExpress

Defunct law of the land Are there legal scholars in Nepal? If any, this is just a single embarrassing incident to quote and as we are well aware, such incidents are very prevalence. Do you really agree this guy has to spend that many years (41 years) in prison? Justice has to be served to fit the crime/felony, but is this justified? I am sending this to our lawmakers and collecting their opinion. Just one example of political corruption - Khum Bahanur bagged millions from state treasurer and spent only one year in jail upon his conviction amidst irresistible public outcry especially from the media. He is still leader not only Nepali Congress but also many lawmakers from other parties advocating one religion. Where is our country heading? Helpless Khum Bahadur is just one example. Is Nepals jumbo legislative team (elected and blessed) is able to address this issue? nagariknews/society/story/26911.html
