Delay question question question... Im planning a new pedal - TopicsExpress

Delay question question question... Im planning a new pedal board, and on it I want one delay pedal. I only really use three sounds. dotted 8ths, quarters, and analog for some subtle echoing nonsense. So it needs to have a minimum of three presets, accept an external tap tempo, and do those three sounds halfway decently. I have been looking at the DD-20 as the obvious choice, but there is a used flashback x4 at a local shop and I was wondering if it is comparable to the dd-20? If not, what other options are out there that meet that criteria? I know of the timeline and time factor, but both of those are a bit out of my price range, and more than what I need anyways.
