Long before someone coined the slogan, ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’, we Kodavas dedicated our only two festivals, Kailpold and Puthari to celebrate the spirit of these two occupations. Even in Delhi, year after year, we have looked forward to these two festivals, when we gather together to revive the magic of our culture and the bonds of kinship. This year, Puthari will be celebrated on the *15th of December, 2013,* on the lawns of the *Delhi Kannada School, located in Lodhi Estate* (opposite Khan Market). Block your date – Sunday, December 15, 2013 – and come with your family and friends. There will be a fancy dress parade by children, talent display, games and tambola.
