Delhi Police (Headquarters) posted a Resource Welcome to Law & Order in West Delhi District circle Dear Delhi (West District) Residents: The local circle for citizens of West District of Delhi is now available. The DCP Office, West District, Delhi is now connected to the circle. Circle Objective: The objective of this circle is as follows: 1) Enable West District Police to reach out to citizens in the West District with updates, alerts and key law & order happenings. 2) Enable citizens to raise common issues related to law & order and collectively find solutions to those working with the community and police. Citizens and RWAs will be able to exchange knowledge and collectively develop best practices for improved law, order and safety in the District. This platform is NOT for individual grievances or filing FIRs. It is to raise law & order issues that affect the citizen community. Members are also welcome to raise alerts about suspicious activity that can be of help to the community and police. Anonymity: This circle also has the capability of optional anonymous reporting. With this, your identity will not be disclosed within the circle or community. This will enable members to report activities of someone who may be a circle member, without fear of retaliation. Delhi Police will always know your identity. Emergency: With this feature a citizen can seek assistance from the community in an Emergency situation. The District Police will also be notified of the Emergency. It is required that members use this judiciously and only for individual or community emergency/alerts. Anytime an Emergency is initiated, every circle member including the District Police office receives an Emergency notification. Compliance to the above DOs and DONTs is essential for all circle members and if not observed will result in removal from the circle and possible LocalCircles account suspension.
