Delhi tourism to launch official mobile app Delhi will join the list of international cities with official smart phone applications. The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) will soon launch an official mobile application for Delhi, which will mainly be targeted at tourists. There are already a few Delhi applications available for smartphones but those have been developed by private developers. Apart from the application, Delhi Tourism is also looking at a more robust presence on the social media through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc. The app is expected to provide all relevant information- such as Delhi Metro routes and fare, bus timings, places to visit, hotels and where to eat - on a single platform. DTTDC plans to sync their application with the official Delhi Metro application for benefit of tourists.
