Delivery man just came by. El and I are working in the yard - reclaiming the flower beds after two months neglect. As usual I offered him a water and New Testament. He asked for prayer as he is planting a rural church about an hours drive northeast of here. I asked him if he could use some New Testaments and gave him the rest in my box by the door (about 25). He could not have been more excited and promised his church would pray for Cameroon, Zambia and Nigeria. It reminded me once more that if you are alert, not ashamed of the Gospel and take the initiative God will be faithful to create ministry opportunities for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 "so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober." Ephesians 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."
