Demanding the media recognize a name change is never simple. Anyone remember that Dallas Running back Tony Dorsett was mocked for insisting his name was Dor SETT with emphasis on the last syllable. Some pundits still use Cassius Clay which actually was a legal name change to Muhammed Ali. I think people need to lighten up for the moment about what name Manning goes by and give people a chance to adjust to such sudden changes. If some outlets still use Bradley, that was the name Manning was serving under, leaked documents under, got arrested, and convicted under. Of course attorneys hidden agendas cannot be counted out. this editorial does not necessarily reflect the management and staff of this page.
