Democratic Governors Association Agim, President Obama’s campaign learned something really interesting last year: if someone makes a commitment to vote – out loud, in writing or online – that person is more likely to make it to the polls on Election Day. Our records indicate that you don’t live in Virginia. But you probably know someone who does. Will you ask your friends who DO live in Virginia to commit to vote for our Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe on Tuesday? This race is coming down to the wire. Either Democrats win and carry that momentum into next year’s pivotal midterm elections, or the Tea Party takes over in a key swing state. If you can remind even one person to cast a ballot, that could make all the difference. Ask your friends in Virginia to commit to vote today. We’re so close to winning this thing, but all of our hard work will be wasted if we don’t get our voters to the polls on Election Day.
