Democrats can take heart that the Republicans are going to struggle to find leadership to lead in the Senate, just as they have done in the House, and that if more people had voted, then more Democratic candidates would have won, and as it is, some key races were won by Democrats. But they should also take note of what the right did in many races was to harp on traditionally progressive talking points and blame the President for a failure to act on them. That they were likely entirely lies and deception wont become clear to most people soon, if ever. Democrats need to engage those disaffected voters who cant be bothered to show up for midterms and are actively looking at other parties.
