Demolition has started on the old supermarket. 2 car park areas have been fenced off and are not available to the market. The old house will become the site office and we believe will become parking once work is completed. We can only hope that once work is finished, the operators of the new supermarket will continue to support the community and let us use the area for a few hours on a Sunday morning. This year the Browns Bay Market Charitable Trust has donated $35000 to local community projects, $24000 to Coastguard North Shore and is in contact with the community board about other local projects needing funding. All stall fees go towards supporting the area.
