Dengue Alert! Compassvale Compassvale is the largest dengue cluster in Singapore, with 165 dengue cases reported as of Friday. About 40 workers at an executive condominium construction site along Compassvale Road were infected by dengue recently. The National Environment Agency had imposed a stop-work order twice to destroy the mosquito-breeding grounds at the site. It has since sprayed pesticide in more than 700 homes in the most-affected blocks. NEA said 52 per cent of the 85 breeding sites were found in homes. The common mosquito-breeding spots are vases, containers and dish trays placed under flower pots.
