Denises phone is back on. I couldnt enjoy Super Sunday yesterday. I woke up, was pumped, bent on having a great time, got out the spread on the table, even cleaned the house and did laundry the night before. I had the pre game on, was in a good mood, but than the wife and mother in law started with the why are we watching this?, this is stupid watch something else, blah blah blah. I tried to explain that its SuperBowl Sunday, its an all day event, its supposed to be a time of socializing and just enjoying oneself. Than i heard its just a stupid football game? Really? Really? Than during the game i wasnt allwed to get excited, yell or anything. Oh and you know that Coca cola commercial on diversity, with America the beautiful sung in many differnt languages? Well I thought it was very special and touching, but such ignorance was displayed in the room, they actually were offended by a comercial promoting cultural diversity and unity, thats a disgracce, this is America, blah blah amongst other politically incorect diatribe. I got pissed and tried to get into a political rant about the founndation of our country that only fell on deaf ears. Sigh, annd than some of the shows I watch like Tosh.o were refered to as ignorant. lol. Really? To some people having an open mind and a broad sense of diversity and wide spectrum of likes and interests is a bad thing. For somebody that claims to be Christian, to dislike diversity is not very Jesus like, not surprising that the Agnostic Secular Humanist is more accepting and loving than someone that is supposed to follow Jesus who is the king of Hippies. People like my sister Emma are the good side of religion, shes very open minded and accepting. anyways, well in a better mood now. How is everyone else? Lol
