Department Position: Production - Manager (Senior level) Qualification: M Pharm / M S Pharmaceutical Technology Experience Range: 10- 12 years Expected CTC: 8 - 12 L per annum Reporting to: Production - Head Key Responsibilities: Ø Preparation of production plan by using proper utilization of equipment capacity, inventory control, manpower utilization and delivery of products in in time. Ø Placebo, Scale up and Exhibit batches of pharmaceutical oral dosage forms. Ensure compliance of various quality measures such as cGMP, MHRA etc and maintain appropriate document requisite documentation/ records. Ø Manufacturing Record: Preparation and approval of Master formula, Batch manufacturing and batch packaging Record. Ø SOP: Preparation of operational and cleaning SOP and imparting the training to the sub ordinates. Ø Other document preparation like training records of junior staff & technicians/operators. Involved in preparation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for newly installed equipments. Ø Review and approval of qualification documents, process and cleaning validation protocols. Ø Involved in the area qualification activities Ø Co ordination with engineering for installation and commissioning of new equipments. Ø Involved in the purchasing of new equipments and maintenance of machine spares and consumables as per the requirement. Ø Responsible for the operations and production results of their assigned production lines to include: goal achievement, problem solving coordination and achievement of production results. Ø Ensure the accurate completion of required documentation per prescribed SOP’s and cGMP’s. Ø Provide leadership and direction in Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Ø Evaluate job performance of all production associates, and assist in the mentoring and development of core teams. Ø Maintain shift performance and documentation of production results. Ø Maintain a cGMP Audit ready facility at all times. Ø Ensure accuracy of department production reporting. Verify daily/weekly results and communicate to all associates. Ø Responsible for continuous improvement processes to include process implementation, and problem solving processes for manufacturing associates and equipment.
