Departures: Andrei Arshavin, Sebastien Squillaci, Vito Mannone, Francis Coquelin, Johan Djourou, Andre Santos, and Denilson. Probable departures: Gervinho, Marouane Chamakh, Park Chu-Young, Nicklas Bendtner and possibly Emmanuel Frimpong. I think we should be more conceded with filling these empty squad spots instead of looking for a "super star". We are more likely to win something with a deeper squad than with one top class player. A squad is what 42 players and if all of the mentioned players leave this will only leave us with 30 good quality players in our first squad. This isnt even 2 full teams (including subs). Wenger better do something soon to avoid the panic buys of seasons past otherwise we can forget about trophies we will struggle to stay in the top 10. Look at all the upper to mid table clubs transfers so far, they have all been strengthening their squads. And in my opinion I think the top 10 spots this year will be extremely hard fought West Brom, Swansea, Spurs, Chelsea, United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spuds, Southampton and Norwich all building reasonable squads and as always stoke and sunderland will be somewhere in the mix. Any normal person would think Wenger and Arsenal have a plan to sign players after letting so many squad players leave, so lets hope they have a few (LOTS) of things up their sleves yet.
