Deputy Government Spokesman Urges Journalists To Save The Image Of SierraLeone, Confirms 3-Days Shutdown...... Sierraleones govt. spokesperson,Mr. Agibu Tejan Jalloh has picked on bias reportages of some international media institutions on the country,while he urged journalists of sierraleone to practice media-patriotism by challenging those distorted news. Mr. Agibu Tejan Jalloh,dilated on the distorted foot ages which he noted are filed by various international mediums,saying that is undermining the effort of the government in addressing the Ebola virus Disease. Which had claimed the lives of over one thousand people in west Africa. With some level of discontent on the biases,Mr. Jalloh,revealed,while he was watching the news,the thrust of the story was about the Ebola,but was however disappointed the footages they were showing was different subjects of corruption,poverty and underdevelopment. Sierraleone, he continued,is not the only country which had had crisis,as he maintained crisis is inevitable. Moreover,Mr. Jallon also in an interview in Freetown with a local medium revealed government has drawn the conclusion for the country to be shutdown for THREE days starting from the 19th September,to the 21st of the same month. The governments action,he said is geared toward the scale up response plans for contact tracers to ensure Ebola victims give in for treatment at the Emergency Operation Centres across the country. The Deputy government spokesman also said the twenty thousand projections made by the World Health Organization for Africas Ebola victims will not come to past; as the tall measures been put in motion by the government and other well -meaning agencies will enable countries in west Africa, especially sierraleone,to put an to the bug.
