Derby utterly kicked my ass this morning. My entourage came out to watch this morning, and I wanted so badly to show them how much I have progressed. By the time they got there I was ducking out left and right. I felt like all they got to see was me sucking wind. That and all the stress with work has me fighting hard right now, and Im getting tired. I want to pass Fresh Meat so badly, and I know that worrying about it wont get me there. I need to get back in derby stance and keep moving my feet. Like Katie Wagner says, I can only compare myself to the skater I was yesterday. Thanks everyone for helping me get as far as I did this morning, Jennie Smith-Foerster Missy Mason Yvonne Kennedy Michele Helvey and Jennifer Vurginac. I ♡ derby.
