Derek was locked up for a long time. When he touchdowned September 15, 2009 I was like dang I do look just like him. The middle of 2013 we found out we was diagnosed with cancer. He went to every Chemo Therapy and he did whatever it took for him to fight it off. I cherished every single moment with him. We disagreed on alot of things but at the end of the day he always told me what was right. We went and saw him at the hospital daily. The night of September 4, 2014 we sat in the bed with him and cried and joked alot. He was talking, eating and even riding on Uncle Rick. That Friday morning of September 5, 2014 my moma came in my room and told me the bad news. I cried for at least 4 days straight. The good thing was that he wasnt struggling.
