Description First of all, we (Thomas and Maria) would like to say thank you to our friends that are taking the time to come and celebrate our wedding in Jakarta. We are very happy and grateful for those that will be there for the special day. In this facebook page are informations and schedules that will help for the trip planning :) Date of event: 5th & 6th of December 2013 Venue: Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta Attire: - 5 December : Javanese traditional ceremony (semi-formal) - 6 December: Church ceremony in the morning (semi-formal) Wedding reception at night (formal suits/dresses) Arrival to Indonesia: We recommend booking your flight with arrival on Monday, 2nd of December 2013 at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia. The reason on that certain day so it would be easier for the transport if we can get everybody to arrive on the same day. Please provide us with your flight information, so we can arrange pick up from the airport on your arrival day. For non-Indonesian passport holder, please apply for a VISA ON ARRIVAL after you disembark from the plane in Jakarta before the immigration area. This will let you stay in Indonesia for 30 days and should cost about $20 to $25. Accommodations: We will provide rooming in one of our apartments and/or the house during your stay in Jakarta, mind you - it might be like a slumber party depending on how many people are coming. If you prefer to stay at a hotel, we can help arrange for hotels but we will need prior notifications due to high occupancy for the hotels. Hotel rate should range from $150 to $250 per night inclusive of breakfast. Events after wedding (optional but compulsary because we want you to come ☺ ): • Bali Trip : 9 December – 12 December o Bali (Google this place ☺) round trip tickets should cost about $150 to $250 per person and we will provide a villa to stay there. Additional costs for car rentals, drivers and services will be approximately $75 per person. • Djakarta Warehouse Project: 13 December o Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) is an annual rave party featuring well known international DJ’s such as David Guetta, Zedd,Alesso – just to name a few. This should be the last big bang on your trip and tickets to that should be about $100 to $150 per person. Departure from Indonesia: Recommended date to leave Jakarta is 16th of December which is a Monday. Budget: Excluding your airfare tickets and events,estimated spending money for food, shopping, activities and entertainments will run about $50 a day. But it is up to you on how much you bring and spend (but if you do run out of money halfway, we can pimp you out ☺) Notes: We hope all of you are able to be a part of all, if not - most of the activities we have in plan.
