Desert Island Album Song #4 - The Slew - 100%. Ive loved pretty much everything that Kid Koala has ever touched. Hes a genius as far as Im concerned. When I first heard his project, The Slew, my mind was immediately blown. This collaboration with Dynamite D and Wolfmothers rhythm section takes the average public perception of turntablism and completely turns it on its head. 100% is a game-changer in my opinion and brilliant from beginning to end. I fought tooth and nail to have this short listed for the Polaris Music Prize in 2010. I failed, but this album remains in constant rotation in my iTunes library.
