Design Your Body Weekly Fitness Challenge: 1 Mile Run for Time Whether you run mileage throughout the week or you complain about a busy schedule, this challenge is for you. Get away from your mundane schedule and check this out. My Current Walkers: Amp up the intensity of your workout and try and get one mile as fast as you can. This means step up your speed and start jogging. Each time you try the challenge, you should shoot for a faster time. My Current Runners: As opposed to just running for distance, switch up your program and run a short distance for time, as fast as you can. This means no jogging, no puttering, and crank up the intensity! Varying your workouts is an awesome way to get better and faster results. Sometimes, long is wrong ;). My “I have no free time” people: Most people can hit one mile in less than 25 minutes. That’s it! Get up, set aside 25 minutes of your time and start moving. Stop putting off your weight loss and get up to get to it! I CHALLENGE YOU to post your one mile time on my wall. Don’t worry about other people’s times, your journey is your own and be proud of your progress. Every time you run a mile this week, post your time on my wall so we can keep track of your progress. Try this challenge at least 3 times (3 miles in 7 days NOT DIFFICULT!). Changing up your workout will help you burn more fat and more total calories (Y). Switch it up with this Challenge!
