Despite Tukur’s resignation, Lamido said the PDP has not done enough Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has said the resignation of Bamanga Tukur, as PDP National Chairman comes at a very wrong time. Lamido said it is now too late to make any difference in the PDP internal crises. Lamido made the comment when he spoke with Voice of America, Hausa service yesterday. He said it is about doing the right thing in the party according to the constitution “Honestly, Good knows that I don’t know how to describe it, because it is already late, but what we want is to correct all the wrong deeds, which went to the extent that some governors decamped from the party,” Lamido said. Asked if they are going to bring back the defected governors, Lamido said a lot happened in Adamawa and Sokoto, where the governors were sacked from the party, “not because they did not love the party, but because of lack of justice in the party”.
