Despite attempts by a couple of anti-Israel BDS members, to disrupt a rally held by some members of SFI and the Christian community (who today were raising awareness of persecuted Christians in Syria and Iraq by ISIS/ISIL, and standing in solidarity with them) we had a really great time. (Not quite sure why some BDS members decided to target the rally today - it was not to do with Israel, but just members of the Christian and Jewish communities coming together to support these persecuted Christians and minorities by ISIS/ISIL......!?) However, despite this, It is approximated that together, we handed out 1,500 leaflets showing how one can support these persecuted peoples. We had a tremendous response from young and older people, some of whom were really appreciative of our support. A really great day, thanks to all who came, and those who couldnt make it - hope to see you at the next occasion! Monna
