Despite available treatments, approximately one-third of people living with epilepsy suffer from uncontrolled or intractable seizures. Conventional medication has not been successful for everyone, but new treatments based on CBD, a hemp-derived oil, present a promising alternative. The problem is that CBD is illegal in Texas.
