Despite being an ardent and irrefragable fan of the APC, its highly monumental I call spade a spade in this case. I have known IG Wala for a while, and I happen to meet with him on a facial basis during the custom workshop at Wuse Zone 3 alongside John Aderogba and a host of others. And we have always been in touch on the phone with him on several matters, hence I think there is need to clear the air. IG Wala informed me about his decision to join politics on phone and we talked elaboratively on phone for say about 15 minutes. I advised him to make his consultations and take into cognisant the party that is massively followed in Balanga. He adhered to that. Wala travelled to almost every nooks and crannies in Balanga and spent weeks there; building a lot of chemistry and bonds with his people in the process. He would visit the chiefs and heads, go to their working places and see how the youths are living a pitiable life. He called me last week to conclude that hes going with the party thats massively supported in Balanga, Gombe - which is the PDP. Almost all the heads, chiefs etc are for the PDP, and to him, is a good timing. And they all advised him to do so. If we can be honest and just to Wala, it is absolutely significant we realise conspicuously that IG Wala does not criticise PDP alone. He criticises both APC and PDP. There was a time he criticised the Tolba-led administration to the extent that his life was threatened, he had travel to Kaduna to reduce the threats and pressures. Thats not to mention several phone calls albeit threats. However, his criticisms for the APC, especially how the previous Goje-led admin subjected the youths to Kalare is also pertinent to reckon with. We should give him a chance to prove his worth. It is only when we take part that we will take charge. Regardless of party, we need credible and good people to pilot the affairs of Nigeria. After all, many people have used the name of General Buhari to gain cheap votes and popularity only to end up cheating the masses and looting the treasury. I wish IG Wala all the best. In as much as I know Wala, he is a man of integrity. He resigned as a member of the Gombe state SURE-P due to some malapropos acts there. He exposed several corruption and inflation of contracts happening under the current PDP-led state government. Lets not conclude yet. We should wish him luck. Thank You. IG Wala John Aderogba
