Despite being pre-approved by administration, executives have ruled against the distribution of my video for Van Andel Suite and I was forced to remove it from my channel. To my friends, fans, and supporters: I cannot put into words how upset I am I had to take this from you, my chest literally hurts. Anyone who knows me knows I put every ounce of heart and soul into delivering professional, creative and progressive works for our community. I am deeply disappointed but definitely not surprised an instrumental part of this city did not want to be affiliated with my work. It saddens me that my goal to bring positive musical messages and light to products/brands/places in Grand Rapids was ultimately overshadowed by [potential] liability. For a city that is known to breed and display some of the finest art in the world, it sure does a spectacular job at hiding it when Art Prize is not in session. (Meanwhile there are artistic sniper silhouettes on top of The Gallery as we speak). However, I am far from defeated. This setback only lights a larger fire within me to dominate my craft and deliver something the city cannot take away from us. Im going to retreat from social media for several days and draft another plan of attack.
