Despite the chilly temperatures throughout most of the day, Ville Platte residents shared their food and money with those in need today at the 2014 Food for Families Food Drive at the Civic Center Pavillion. A special thank you to everyone who donated to the Christian Care and Share Center. Classic Hits 92.5 KVPI was there from 7:30am to 3:00pm helping organizers to get the message out. We have a group shot of all the volunteers, a photo of some of the volunteers sorting some of the donated items and a special shot of a surprise guest from the North Pole, posing with a reporter from TV 10 and Care and Share Center Director Gene Fontenot.
