Despite the fact I got the flu shot, the week has been unkind to me. Offline and mostly in bed, I mustered enough energy (and voice) for the Boston Pubic Radio segment. Our plans to discuss gun control and Pakistan were sidelined with the great news of changes in Cuba policy. I have always been a big proponent, remarking that at last, the Cold War is over. Its safe to say that the policy of outlasting the Castro brothers was not sound from the get go.
