Despite the failure of the big-budgeted theatrical released original, the idea of having Jason Statham go up against Ray Liotta in a fight and recruit a legendary Hong Kong action choreographer (程小東 Tony Ching Siu-Tung- House of Flying Daggers and Hero) to shape it was an entertaining attention catcher for movie goers. This stand-alone sequel didnt live up to the expectations of the first movie. Dolph Lundgrens one of my favorite action stars but he didnt have much to work with except for dialogue and some decent combat. If youre familiar with director Uwe Bolls video game-based films, dont expect The Expendables star to do anything groundbreaking. youtu.be/glO1q8FNj-U
