Despite the utter chaos of the past 30 hours, Toby, James, and I - TopicsExpress

Despite the utter chaos of the past 30 hours, Toby, James, and I had a peaceful and fun Christmas morning. I dont think this child is lacking for anything he possibly wanted or needed. :) Plus, he was having so much fun, saying thank you, and - the best part - stopping to read all the books he was given. I love that he loves to read! And he gave me the best gift possible - sleeping until 8:45. Praise you, child. Toby gave me a Samsung nook so I can read/check the Internet when Im in bed, in the hospital, or on the go (most likely in a waiting room, lol). Its the perfect gift for me. But more importantly, I was awake and alive to SEE this one Christmas with my family. And that matters more than any material items that could ever exist. I also saw my grandmother yesterday afternoon. While she isnt well and didnt fully recognize me, it was nice just to hold her hand and talk to her. I also gave her a stuffed bear. No one should ever be alone in a hospital bed. And this prompted a wonderful idea for a charity, which I will talk about at another time, when Im not busy with spending time with my family (which I very much want to get back to doing!). There is always time to give to others, and to comfort them through their darkest times. I understand this. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, festive Thursday, and/or whatever pertains to you today. May you be happy and feel love. Thank you to all of you for your unwavering love, support, and help this year. I have fantastic friends, and I am blessed. I hope to get the most out of every day, and to take all of these remaining seconds to live the best life possible.
