Despite vowing to stand up to Obama and keep the lights on, Lincoln County High School senior Tyler Triplett doesn’t actually want to join Democrats and Republicans in a battle against the president. The student government candidate just thought his ad was a funny way to point out some of the oft-used talking points in campaign ads flooding West Virginia televisions. “I just see all these campaign ads that say, ‘So-and-so shook hands with Obama once and he likes Obama and you should vote for me,’” Triplett said.
