Details: Egg Nog Jog Under The Lights in Downtown Albemarle tonight at 6:30 pm. Location: 154 S. First St next door to Computer Visions at the future location of Vac & Dash! Walkers are welcome. Egg Nog and Hot Chocolate will be available at the finish. 1- Run is free, shirts are $10.00. Run is a senior class project of Janna Biddle (she is a junior and hopes to hold this event her senior year also.) Proceeds are to raise awareness for the Thomas A. Biddle Foundation, Jannas father. 2. Runners/walkers are encouraged to come dressed in the Christmas Spirit! (Of course, the two things that enhance your chance in getting your picture in the 2016 Vac & Dash Calendar is dressing for the theme of an event or running in Vac & Dash apparel.) 3. Route: Start at 154 S. First Street at future Vac & Dash location. South on First, left on Charlotte Road (Post Office) left on Second, left on First (Windstream), Right on Main, Right on Greenway, Turn around at Tour de Elvis 5K finish line on Greenway just past the tree line. Reverse course. 4. Be safe, road will be open to traffic. Be careful at crossings, bring a flashlight for the Greenway if you can. (I am going to try to find some glow sticks to help mark the course.) Vac & Dash will have red safety blinky lights available for sale for $3.00 this evening.
