Detectives Seeking ID of Vehicle Burglar St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are currently investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred on the Charenton levee on the afternoon of Sunday, November 9, 2014. The criminal was caught on video surveillance using a hammer to break into a parked truck. Among the items stolen in the burglary are a handgun and two iPods. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person pictured in the video.
