Deuteronomy 27:1-26.....YOU HAVE NOW BECOME THE PEOPLE OF THE LORD YOUR GOD...... God wanted His people to obey all His commands.For them not to forget theses commands,what did He instruct the to do(vs.1-4)?Today,Gods word is preserved and in print in almost all the major languages of the world.We cannot claim its non availability nor excuses for not studying and obeying it. A decision to believe in God means becoming His people(vs.9-10).Along with this priviledge is the responsibility of obeying His words and following His ways.How we live shows what we really believe.Can people tell that you belong to God through your life of obedience to Gods word? Verses 14-26 consists of twelve curses,name them.These curses are the results of wrong actions and His deterrent against them.We warn children not to touch hot coals or they get burnt.God is warning us to stay away from bad actions-they have tragic consequences. What to do:Look at your society/nation today:how many of these things that bring curses are in practice?Pray abt it. PRAYER: Put in your Church the desire for righteousness and to turn away from actions that brings a curse...Amen....Queens Chambers
