Deuteronomy 28Acontecerá that if you listen carefully to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And come on you all these blessings, and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed is the fruit of your womb, the fruit of your ground and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed when you go out. Lord thine enemies that rise up against thee shall come out against thee one way, and flee seven ways before you. LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand, and bless thee in the land which the Lord your God gives you. LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways. And all the peoples of the earth that the name Jehovah is called upon thee, and they shall be afraid. Yahweh will make you plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers he would give you. Lord shall open to you His good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of your hands. Lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, to observe and to do, and if you do not aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
