Devotion, Prayer, And Bible Quiz “Food For The Soul” The Lord Removes Our Sins [Leviticus 5:14-16/KJV] Thursday, January 22, 2015 [Scroll down to answer Bible Quiz questions.] Devotion: The old covenant sacrificial system was elaborate and complicated, but such laws were necessary to meet God’s requirements for removing guilt. Under the new covenant of Jesus Christ, we may enter the Father’s presence through the sacrifice of his Son. Now we may receive forgive- ness by repenting and following Jesus Christ. This new covenant was promised by Jeremiah, who rejoiced that the Lord “will forgive their wicked- ness and will remember their sins no more” (Jeremiah 31:34). Praise the Lord for his full and final atonement for our sin. Prayer: MERCIFUL GOD, your compassion is unceasing. We praise you for redeeming us through Jesus Christ, your obedient Son. Let our gratitude for your mercy be seen in our words and deeds, and help us to turn from our sin and renew our mind according to your perfect will. Amen. Bible Quiz: [Leviticus 5:14-16/KJV] 1.)
