Dharma Rape in Nepal The perpetrator is a Tibetan archaeologist - TopicsExpress

Dharma Rape in Nepal The perpetrator is a Tibetan archaeologist and close student and translator of the Dalai Lama. He is surrounded by influential circles, which are able to impose unprecedented pressure on the Nepalese court, to prevent a fair trial for the victim. The collected evidence was reason enough to keep the perpetrator in custody for almost 2 months. Out of a sudden the collected evidence and important witness statements are no longer going to be considered for the final hearings in front of the court. The lawyers of the opposite side force the closing of this case before Dashain, in September and pressure the release of the perpetrator from prison. Thus, justice is not intended to happen. After publishing this case in the Kathmandu Post ekantipur/the-kathmandu-post/2014/08/20/nation/rape-case-puts-judiciary-in-dilemma/266412.html the reporter in charge has been threatened anonymously not to investigate furthermore in this case. Help to make this public and support a fair legal trial for the victim. All evidence and witness statements have to be considered. We count on you, spread the word, support this case, share the message and make it public! The legal system of Nepal is under threat!
