Diabetics have bad immune systems, right? You do realize how I became diabetic, right? My immune system decided that it couldnt find any other bacteria to kill, so it started killing the bacteria in my pancreas called insulin. Thats essentially how type 1 diabetes hits you. This means that my immune system was ready to go to war. Fast forward two decades later. I dont get flu shots. I also dont get the flu, or any seasonal viruses the rest of you bring into my home (including my sick wife, who at this very moment is leaking from both holes.) So...whats wrong with my immune system again?
