Diary of a TB: Royal Bid. I wasnt sure this morning whether I was sad or excited as I dropped my filly off at The Vaal. I have done everything I could do in 2 months. Mostly she is settled and quiet now. Her head is still and her mouth quiet, she no longer retracts her tongue with pressure. She has a much better top line, her overdeveloped and unbalanced shoulder is now the right size, she is balanced and uses her hindquarters. She can do flying changes and if you really want to ask her she can stop and spin on her hocks. Her teeth are perfect, her feet are nicely balanced. She has grown a bit too. Tomorrow she goes back onto the track to work so the trainer can get an idea as to how she is moving using the bridle I sent her down with and my bit. Monday she will do some fast work to access how fit she is. I say pretty fit, with the work I did. Then she needs to go win me a race or two. If not she is already a half schooled polo pony, she doesnt need to be concerned abt her second life
