Even airplane wings are but hangers for engines. When forced to board an airplane, either at the point of a gun or by peer intimidation, certain conditions have to be met: (Valium in some quantity; a seat next to a Priest, a Rabbi, a Baptist preacher, or in extreme emergency, an Iman; I must be near a toilet at the rear of the plane because I have a stomach condition and besides the probability of surviving a crash is greater than sitting in the First Class section; the attendant who serves me must be mute. Cheerful talk on a plane is aberrant. So, when does the next bus leave for Phoenix?
