Dickens, A Christmas Carol...in addition to reading the short story upon which the movies are based, I have viewed all 4 versions many times. The original 1938 version with Reginald Owen as Scrooge, the (I think) 1958 version with Alistair Sim, followed by George C. Scott and lately, Patrick Stewart. I have enjoyed them all, each and every one, but I think the one with Alistair Sim as Scrooge was best. Other opinions?
