Did Bristol and Bath today. Went to view the SS Gt Britain and noticed a Gromit statue in the road leading there. It was in the forecourt of Ardman Studios!! Eleanor and I were privileged to then see several Gromits that had been collected from around Bristol. Photos later... SS Gt Britain is a superbly done exhibit. We could have spent the whole day there. Certainly worth the high-ish price tag. Returned to Temple Meads by ferry. That was also worth the price with the young deckhand a mine of useful information on the history and workings of the floating harbour. Arrived at Bath too late to see the Roman baths as cousin Nev picked us up at 1600 to go up to Abbey cemetery to look at Henry Thomas BURNE´s grave. Took nearly 30 minutes to find it as everything is overgrown as it was last time I visited and couldn´t find the grave. This time I found it and cleared the weeds away. Evening meal at the pub in Sherston and a couple of real ales. Off to Cumbria tomorrow...
