Did I do this right? I had an add on craigslist selling something. 1 guy calls twice saying he is on his way over, then a guy calls from a car saying he is coming. The 2nd guy arrives 1st but only by a few minutes. I needed to get the thing started and that takes a good 10 minutes after they are both there. They then BOTH wanted it and had the money on them. I sold it to the first guy that called, the other guy said he had gotten there first. I told him, if you had offered the money before the other guy arrived, it would be yours. However, you both insisted on having it run and you were both here when I got it started, that negates the first arrival and now I have to revert to who first responded.
